The goal in my work is to express the symbiotic relationships between all things, particularly those things that are considered to be opposites in our relative universe (life and death, light and dark, angelic and demonic, good and evil), and to illustrate the dependence that these things have on one another to simultaneously exist as opposites. It is this interconnectedness that makes our whole reality, as well as the understanding that they are all only separate parts of the same thing. Through art I attempt to bring to light that all of our actions and lives help create all other seemingly unrelated existences, no matter how separate or undesirable they may seem. From sacred reverence to profane mendacity, the subject matter within my work ranges from one to the other, and everywhere in between.
